National FFA week is here, and it is time to celebrate our students, teachers, community, and school staff! All week this week our Leadership team is hosting a variety of activities, ranging from dress-up days, to lunch time hangouts, to our very own Ag Olympics! There are a plethora of activities to get involved in, so bring your FFA spirit this week!
In addition to each of the activities day by day, we are also hosting a Kiss the Goat contest with some of our Lincoln High School Staff. Students, each of the following teachers have a can placed in their room. You can put money in the can of the teacher of your choice, and the teacher with the most money in their can at the end of the week will kiss a goat Friday at Lunch!

Tuesday - 2/22/22
We kick off FFA Week on "Twosday" with some awesome activities. It is blue and gold dress-up, so bring out all your blue and gold and show your love for the National FFA organization! At lunch, join our officers in the quad for some good music, vibes and corn hole competition! After school, hop on instagram and participate in our online scavenger hunt!
Wednesday - 2/23/22
Wednesday is a big day for Lincoln FFA! Come to school dressed like your favorite Ag Teacher! Join us at lunch to pie the officer team in the face! $1 dollar gets you one pie to put into the face of any Lincoln FFA officer of your choice! After school join us out at the Farm at 5pm for our February FFA meeting! We have a lot of fun updates and recognition that is going to happen. At the FFA meeting we will also be drawing the winning pig raffle ticket for the Lincoln FFA alumni's Pig Raffle! Then, we will host our very own Ag Olympics. Each Ag Teacher and the officers have assembled teams of FFA members to compete in various farm activities. If you didn't already make it onto a team, there will be opportunities to sign up at the meeting!
Thursday - 2/24/22
Thursday is all about the community service and involvement. Bust out your best Western Wear for our dress-up day, and enjoy the tractor pull at lunch. After school you can earn some community service hours, as we will be meeting in Room 2 to work on stuffing candy in eggs for local easter egg hunts for children!
Friday - 2/25/22
Friday will wrap up another successful FFA week. Show your spirit for our country by dressing all out with Red, White, and Blue or your best camo clothes! At lunch we will be hosting a free BBQ for all FFA members and Lincoln High School Staff. We will also have some music, and our winning teacher of the Kiss the Goat contest will be smoochin one of our farm goats! Be sure to come out and join us for a lunch packed with fun!
Attention Lincoln Community! Every year California FFA puts on a remote 5k fundraising event to help raise money for the State FFA Association. This year, Lincoln FFA is planning to host a venue for completing your 5k! On Saturday, February 26th we will host the 5k at the LHS Farm.
The cost of registration is $30 (Registration is through California FFA) and includes your official race bib and sticker. Additionally, we will be offering Lincoln FFA 5k shirts for $10 and a Trip-Tip lunch for $10 at our event.

Pig raffle tickets are still on sale! For those unfamiliar, each year the Lincoln FFA Alumni chapter donates half of a processed pig to the the person with the winning ticket! Tickets are drawn during National FFA week in February. Each ticket is $5. Money goes to support various things such as banquet awards, student activities, and scholarships.
