Committees
Committees are an essential function to every FFA Chapter. Lincoln FFA hosts nearly 30 events and activities every year at the local level for our members and community. Committees are utilized to take on responsibility of some events to alleviate pressure off of the officer team and advisor. Additionally, it allows more students to take on leadership roles within our chapter, and to have a hand in putting on events in our community. Lincoln FFA's committees have been restructured to conform and match National FFA's standards and expectations for committees and their processes. The advisors are confident that these changes will be essential in creating more, higher quality activities for our Chapter and community while also increasing student leadership, though we do have to say... National FFA has some funky names for the committees! Not everything is perfect, and this will be a relatively new system for us to use, but we invite you to learn more about each of the 15 committees and what they do! Additionally, each year the Chapter's Program of Activities is created to outline each committee, their events, and the goals of those events. You can find the most current Chapter POA here
