FFA Degrees
FFA is structured into a degree program which rewards active FFA members for progress in all phases of leadership, skills and occupational development. The Greenhand FFA Degree and the Chapter FFA Degree are awarded at the chapter level. State associations award top members with the State FFA Degree.
Greenhand DegreeThis is a degree given to first-year high school students who have demonstrated that they have a thorough understanding of the history and purpose of FFA and have a SAE plan. They will have to be enrolled in an agriculture education program and have a satisfactory plan for a Supervised Agricultural Experience.

Chapter DegreeThe chapter FFA Degree is awarded to members in 10th grade or higher who are involved in chapter activities and community service and complete the minimum hours of instruction and SAE project growth.

State FFA Degree
This is the highest degree in each state. This degree
demonstrates the student has put an exceptional amount
of time into their SAE and local chapter. It is awarded
after receiving the aforementioned degrees.
