The Farm FoundationThe Lincoln High School Farm is supported and advised by the Lincoln FFA Farm Foundation. The Farm foundation consists of community members who are involved the in agriculture industry in a variety of ways. Their mission is to ensure that the Farm remains an impact learning experience for all members of Lincoln High School and even all students of Western Placer Unified School District.
The Farm Foundation meets regularly three times each year to hear programmatic updates from the current teachers, as well as conduct business, provide guidance and support, and assist in the operation of the Farm. The Farm Foundation ensures that the education that Lincoln Agriculture students receive is industry relevant and applicable to job opportunities in the area. Additionally, the Farm Foundation is also a registered Non-Profit Organization, who work to host our Annual Commitment to Corduroy Benefit Dinner in efforts to raise additional funds to support our program. |
